A hearing in Mexico City for Santiago Meza López, the man known as the "Stewmaker" (El Pozolero) for having dissolved the bodies of more than 300 people, indicated that Meza's boss, Teodoro "El Teo" García Simental, had his ex-girlfriend, her brother, her nephew, and her parents killed.
The father was apparently kidnapped by state police in García's service after the father complained about the disappearance of his family.
Meza, who was captured in 2009, is imprisoned in Mexico state. García was apprehended in 2010.
